Visited an amazing design shop today. Its called designist and its on George's st (Dublin). They have some really great innovative products that i just want so much. Plus its not that expensive

Here's my wish list....feel free to get me them all

Unfinished clock...pretty damn cool

This is a cute little toy... you make the whole thing yourself and then it moves when you twist the wheel

Pot grenade...grenade pot? really nice idea

Light bulb where they've made the filament into the design

and i just love this... so simple and so clever

There was also a book shelf that you could stick the books to using a series of small pin-like things so it looked like they were stuck to the wall... but a can't remember the name of it and therefore can't find it :(

Really i just want everything in this shop

Em... so yeah its been quite a while. I'm a terrrible, terrible updater. But in my defense college has been super busy these past few weeks. PLUS I fractured my ankle, so don't judge me. Being in a cast was fucking frustrating, but i guess i appreciate my ability to walk better now, cheesy and all as that sounds.... but delighted to be walking around again and thanks to people who actually helped my out every day opening doors and doing other simple things that made my life that little bit easier.... :)
ANYWAY were doing photography right now and the project is fucking scary....
here's some pretty cool things i found while researching

Essay Procrastination
As usual I have an essay due, as usual I'm well behind schedule, and as usual I'm doing every single thing possible to avoid doing it. Thus, a blog post is born.
So Christmas was... largely unproductive. But we all need a break right? I took quite a few pictures of the fantastic snow that was around for about a week. Sledding being the highlight of that. (no sledding pics though cos I was too scared to take my camera out). Then a fantastic Christmas dinner followed by a week where I did actually nothing except meet Roz for lunch, which was, of course, fab. Then a fun New Years Eve and another amazing NYD dinner.
Please pleasure your eyeballs with this small snapshot collection until I update again:

Protest Time

Good craic at the protest today. Bout 30,000 students on the streets of dublin. Protesting against reg fees going to 3000 euro plus 10% cut in the grant.
Our sit down protest ouside the gates of the dail was over shaddowed by the violent cunts who stormed the department of finance. These people were not students they were waving Sinn Fein and Socialist Party flags. Ruining it for the rest of us.

But good fun and Ncad protest passed off without any violence, and hopefully got our point across too!

No if's, no but's, no education cuts!!!

So I've been back in college about 3 weeks and I've got to say I'm loving it. Defo made the right choice anyway.... well hopefully :P My days generally comprise of waking up 30 mins before college starts, running around the house like a crazy person trying to get ready on time then sprinting to college to make it in for half 9 on the dot, spending the whole day trying desperately to think of original ideas, sketching them and talking shite till 5 when its time to home, attempt to make something vaguely healthy to eat and continue to try and think or original ideas, then go to bed too late. Vicious circle i tells ya! But I do love it. Seriously.
And just a note for everyone; i dont spend the day smoking weed... contrary to popular belief
Heres some recent shit I've done

Decided to be adventurous this year and join a soccer team. Enjoying it alright, had our first match on sunday. We lost, but thats nothing new to me.
On friday Tina came up and we went to.... ROCKY HORROR SHOW! It was beyond amazing. Fact. Frank.... what a man. ;) Unforch no cameras allowed so you wont be able to witness him in all his sexual glory :P :P Even Richard o Brien made an appearence on the night.
In that vien, Im well excited for rocky horror glee

This is what happens when a clearly insane man is given too much media attention:

I mean seriously guys, he had like 50 members of his church. Who would have known if he'd done it?
Also, in a radio interview i heard this morning, he refered to them as "Moslims", so he's clearly well informed.

EDIT: Maybe this is all he wanted to do?

Went to a sell out viewing of Scott Pilgrim VS the World in Douglas (i.e there were 4 of us in the cinema, 3 of which actually paid for a ticket). It was fabbb. Loving the look, loving the story and its really really feckin funny. Roz and Tina loved it, Laura not so much, so i guess its an aquired taste :P
